Irita Marie

Hi, I’m Irita. I like to think of myself as a visual storyteller.

As a photographer, I love being able to capture the stories in life that are unfolding before us. Even though life is imperfect, we tend to focus on the perfect moments because we’ve been taught that they look better in picture frames. I think the imperfect moments are worth framing too, because they add beauty and originality to the picture of your life.

Whether your nose scrunches up in the middle of your laugh, or your dad’s forehead wrinkles up like a map. Maybe your “imperfect” is your daughter’s scraped knee or your son’s mismatched socks.

Life fluctuates through seasons of growth, joy, stress, and mundanity. All of these seasons make up the story of your life, and sometimes. that story is imperfect. Whatever your imperfect is, I want to show you that it can be beautiful too. And hey, maybe you’ll want to frame it and put it on the wall. :)
